NY Penal Law § 120.45
Stalking in the fourth degree
Intentionally pursuing a course of conduct toward someone without a legitimate purpose, knowing or reasonably expected to know it will cause the specified fear or harm. Certain contact and workplace provisions require a prior clear instruction to stop.
With intent to harass, annoy or alarm, engaging in specified physical contact or threats, following in public, or repeated alarming or seriously annoying acts without a legitimate purpose. Specified labor activities are excluded from the following and repeated-conduct provisions.
Includes threats communicated with intent to harass and knowledge or reason to know they will cause reasonable fear of harm, and calls intended to harass or threaten without legitimate communication. Other provisions cover specified physical contact, injury, bias, transit-worker and repeat-offense circumstances.

Immigrant assistance service contracts
Requires a signed written contract before immigrant assistance services, understandable language and an English version, specified disclosures and copies, and cancellation protections. The usual three-business-day penalty-free cancellation right has a limited urgent-service waiver; later cancellation and refund rules also apply.

Requires visible multilingual notices and fee information at customer meeting locations, plus notices in advertisements explaining that the provider is not authorized to give legal advice. The statute specifies wording, size and other requirements.

Restricts immigrant assistance providers from giving legal advice, misleading customers about credentials or influence, threatening immigration reports, retaining originals, and other listed conduct. Includes restrictions on fees, false answers, unauthorized disclosures or filings, and knowingly misleading benefit-eligibility claims intended to attract customers.

Practicing or appearing as attorney-at-law without being admitted and registered
Restricts practicing or appearing as an attorney for others and holding oneself out as authorized to practice law without the required admission. The statute contains specific exceptions, including certain supervised programs and authorized out-of-state practitioners.
